First time Director Mike Waugh approached me to produce 'Magnetic' and right away I was engaged with the script. The story revolves around Rachel, a woman seeking professional help for her nightmares, who discovers that the traumas of her past may well be portents of her future.

Immediately, I recommended Actress Heléna Antonio for the lead role, and Mike agreed that she was the perfect match. Thankfully, Heléna also agreed and thus the adventure began.

With a shortage of funds to execute the film at the standard we desired, we raised the additional capital through crowd funding and film networking events.

After several rehearsals, rewrites, and Nic Booth joining as DOP, we were ready. We spent 4 days in the blistering summer sun shooting our film.
