Written by & featuring Sabira Stanisavlijevic, I creatively and practically produced and edited this film.

It began with assisting Sabira on the script, piecing together what is a very personal story for herself, whilst working closely with cinematographer, Nic Booth and Production Designer, Yannik Eilers, to shot list, design and coordinate the production.

With shorts you try to make the world and story feel bigger than the amount of time you have to showcase the idea... and here I think we have succeeded in making 12 minutes feel deeper as we look into the hidden homeless. It was about the subtleties that we play out and the inner emotion unfolding within, which I think Sabira portrayed fantastically.

My favourite moment in the film is one simple look from supporting actor Rachel Brown, which I feel is the entire heart of the film and its subtext.
